Arachnophobia - Women's Graphic T-shirt
I was so in love with the shape of my beetle design that I decided to re-invent it, however this time I was inspired by those old woodblock prints. The intricacy of the line quality I felt lends itself well to those spindly legs. I’ve been terrified of spiders for as long as I can remember, but lately I’ve found them hanging out with me in my studio no doubt taking refuge from the cold. I don’t want to kill them, I’m too chicken to catch them so I just let them be and for the most part they seem pretty content to take up residence and leave me alone. This t-shirt is my way of paying homage, or more acknowledging their presence in my life, and sometimes... unintentionally, in my work.
