Scarab'd for Life - Women's T-shirt
I wanted to make something that borrows from something I’ve always been fascinated and inspired by – Egyptian reliquary, artefacts and myth. It has been translated that when the gods Khepri (who incidentally had the face of a beetle) and was responsible for the movements of the sun and the god Atum, responsible for creation merge together into one they became this ultimate deity “one with the power of life over death”. This scarab design is my spin on that ultimate union.
